LINEAGE 2000

The Lineage 2000 Power System (also LNG-2000) was originally a Lucent Technologies power system developed by Lineage Power as a general-use, +/-24 volt or -48 volt DC output power system for telecommunications applications requiring up to 9600 amperes of rectifier output capacity. The system was sold to Tyco Electronics in December 2001. In 2005, however, Tyco and Lucent (now Alcatel-Lucent) signed a Teaming Agreement to bundle power products with Alcatel-Lucent Solutions, including the Lineage 2000 Power System. Items sold after 2001 have subsequently been branded Tyco while items sold before 2001 as Lucent Technologies.
