D448 PCM Multiplex Shelf Channel Banks digitally multiplex 24 or 48 Voice and Data Channels into one or two DS1-Compatible, 1.544 Mb/s data streams. T1 data streams can be transported over copper, fiber optic, radio and satellite links and are end-to-end compatible with other D1D, D2, D3 and D4 channel banks. D448 (dual digroup—48 channels) carrier systems provide single and dual digroup T1 management in a practical design that highlights ease of installation and maintenance and accept a numerous selection of voice and data plug-in units in both 2-Wire and 4-Wire.
